These Terms of Use govern your use of the LeoPDF website, LeoPDFree and LeoPDF applications provided by FOUNTAIN CLOUD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (“we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them before using the services. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
1. Editions and features
LeoPDFree for Windows: all features are free. All conversion and file processing takes place offline on your computer, without uploading files for processing. OCR is not included.
LeoPDF store editions for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android: conversion from PDF or images to Word or Excel is paid; other features are free. Except for conversion to Word or Excel, all features process files offline on your device without uploading them for processing. OCR uses cloud processing.
Review the current feature description and purchase screen for your platform before choosing an edition or buying conversion credits. Features, supported formats and compatibility may vary by edition and version.
2. Permission to use the software
Subject to these terms and any applicable store terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to install and use the software for its intended document-processing purposes. The software and website remain protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of our software, branding or other materials to you.
3. Your documents and responsibilities
You retain your rights in your documents. Using the service does not transfer ownership of them to us. When you submit a file to a cloud feature, you authorize the processing needed to carry out your requested conversion.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to process your files and any personal information they contain. Do not use the services for unlawful activity, to infringe others’ rights, to distribute malicious files, to bypass payment or access controls, or to disrupt or overload the services. Restrictions on modifying or reverse-engineering the software apply only to the extent permitted by law.
4. Cloud processing and deletion
Cloud conversion and OCR require a working internet connection. Files processed in the cloud are deleted when conversion completes. The service is not a document archive or backup system. Keep your originals and save the output you need on your device.

5. Paid conversion and purchases
Conversion to Word or Excel in LeoPDF store editions requires paid conversion entitlements, such as in-app conversion credits. The price, quantity and applicable conditions are those displayed before you confirm the purchase. These terms do not introduce a subscription or guarantee unlimited conversions.
All payments are collected through the app store where you make the purchase, under its applicable terms. We do not collect payments directly through this website. Questions about delivery of conversion entitlements can be sent to xuehui@leopdf.com. Do not send passwords or complete payment-card details.
Refund requests must be submitted to the app store where you made the purchase and are handled under that store’s rules and applicable consumer law. See our Refund Policy for additional information. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Conversion quality and backups
Conversion and OCR results depend on the source file, image quality, language, handwriting and document layout. Results may contain errors or formatting differences. Review the output before relying on it, especially for financial, legal, medical or other important documents. We do not guarantee error-free recognition or identical formatting.
Keep backups of original documents. You are responsible for checking that an output file meets your needs before deleting an original or using the output in another workflow.
7. Availability and changes
Online services can be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity problems or technical failures. Features and compatibility may change over time. Changes affecting existing purchases remain subject to applicable law and any commitments made at purchase. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, payment abuse or security threats.
8. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as available” basis, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or suitability for every document or purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, statutory remedies, liability that cannot legally be excluded, or your applicable consumer rights.
9. Third-party stores and services
Microsoft Store, Apple’s App Store and Google Play are operated by their respective providers. Their download, payment, account and other applicable terms apply separately. Links to third-party sites do not make their services part of our own policies.
10. Eligibility and updates to these terms
You must be legally able to enter into these terms, or have the permission and supervision required by applicable law. We may update these terms and will show the updated date on this page. Additional notice or agreement will be provided where required. Changes do not override rights or purchase commitments protected by applicable law.

Contact xuehui@leopdf.com with questions about these terms or a service issue. We encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue. This does not restrict your right to contact a regulator, use a store’s dispute process or seek a remedy available under applicable law.
